Last Week Twitch announced Twitch Unity which is wide holiday that celebrates inclusivity and diversity on their platform. I am happy that Twitch is doing this because the platform has become a place that people express themselves such as being a gamer, artist, chief and podcasters. Twitch just announced Twitch Affiliate Program (which I still hoping to get an invited) and their partnership with Amazon which offers players to connect their Prime account to get access to loot, music , watch ad-free stream and more benefits. On May 26 I will be celebrating it on my stream (if you have not follow me on Twitch do so) and they offer Twitch Unity global emote and free graphics package. If you want to participate you have to set your stream on TwitchUnity Community (if you are a streamer) but if you not you can drop the Twitch Unity global emote in your favorite streamers on that day. You can buy a Twitch Unity T-shirt on Teespring and the proceeds will go to Amnesty International (also make a donation). Twitch will stream a Special Weekly Takeover on May 26 and following a 3 hour Just Dance-a-thon from their office.
What is diversity? Diversity is a group of people such as race, religion, orientation and various things. In Twitch has the answer, I love how Twitch has a platform variety of talent. I know Twitch is original a gaming platform but it’s more than just that. For example music maker, starting a live show, social eating, creative and many more. People compare Twitch to YouTube but there are complete different types of platform. Here are some burning question from the blog I like to answer. What do you want to say to someone who may be concerned that they are not welcome in the Twitch community? I would say that don’t worry about not feeling because Twitch welcome everyone, wherever the gender, race or orientation. What message of encouragement and inclusion would you like to give viewers/streamers? Be yourself and you are your own person, it’s doesn’t matter who are you because you are always welcome in this world. Why do you care about diversity? I care because I like to meet people from different creative backgrounds such as Musician, Bloggers, YouTube Creators, Creative Artist and yes Twitch Streamers. I am loving the Twitch community because we support one another and very embracive. I also like interact with the chat and watch other streamers grow. Twitch has become a big impact in my life because my goal is to do this full-time just like everyone and get a huge following. Twitch is a great platform to be expressive and loving to one other and share the joy, I am glad I am apart of this platform.
