Twitch Con 2016 – Twitch New Features for Streamers

What is going on at TwitchCon 2016 and it’s new features

If you have not been to TwitchCon you are missing out. Twitch just announced some new feature that
they are implemented. I will get you a rundown on these as I explain them.

 Twitch Prime

 You know Twitch is
partner with Amazon. Now working with Amazon to create
Twitch Prime. Twitch Prime is a little different from Amazon Prime,
You get ad-free streams, instant access to Hearthstone content,
Exclusive emotes and chat badges just like Turbo and a free channel
subscription every 30 days. As for Amazon Prime you get your items
ship faster, unlimited streaming of movies, TV shows, discounts and
music. My thoughts are so streamers will love it and it’s a good
way for Twitch collaborating with Amazon and support the gaming
community. It kind of reminds me of PSN a little with the discounts
and early accesses. This is another way for views to support

 Idon’t have
anything new to say about this. Other than this should be implemented
long time ago. Every streamer should have this, you can choose what
video quality you want. For example,
144p30 – 1080p60 ( they alright
have these setting on YouTube already) it gives viewer a great
experience if they’ve a slow connection. Why did this came out from
the beginning?

Curse + Twitch:

Curse is
communication platform just like Discord and Skype were there is
voice char and build your community. If you sync your account you
will be granted access to Twitch emotes and the color of Curse’’s
interface will be purple not orange. If you don’t want to use
Discord or Skype, Curse is an another option.

Clips and Uploads

 Clips are
pretty much like highlights, you select a favorite moment from you
stream. Trim it and share it to social media and now you can put it
on your channel feed or whisper it. Upload is you can post
walkthrough, guides and edit your past broadcasts just like YouTube.
There is now expiration dates and views stats on each videos.

Loyalty Badges

This is for
Twitch partners you can customize how your badges will look and get
them for how long you being a Twitch partner and being a loyal
community member. It pretty much like a forum, how long you a member
and contribute to Twitch.
That’s my thoughts on Twitch’s new features that were announced at TwitchCon and I would like to more
of them. I got questions about the Loyalty Badges they should havemore benefits other being a loyal community such as non-partnersteamers should get them as well. I want Twitch to have a system to
help small streamers get exposure. What are you thoughts on this?
