EVO Japanese Player Daigo “The Beast” Umehara Is Getting a Manga

For fans of EVO and manga, you will know Daigo  “The Beast” Umehara is getting a manga.  The manga is called Daigo the Beast and it tell about his early career as a Japanese Arcade fighting games. If you don’t know who Daigo Umehara is, there is a backstory. Daigo has been going to Japanese arcade center at the age of 10. Daigo first two fighting games he played was Street Fighter II and Fatal Fury: King of Fighters. Daigo challenge other player due to the limited time that he could stay at the arcade. In 13 years of age, Daigo picked up Vampire Hunter and earn a 286 win steak record before Akihabara Sega game center closing. Umehara join his first tournament when he entered GAMEST Cup’s national Vampire Hunter tournament in 1995, when he defeated Nuki in the  finals. Daigo participated in Capcom’s official Street Fighter Zero 3 national tournament at the age of 17 in 1998. Daigo face off against Nuki and Alex Valle, then was crowned the winner of the of the U.S. national Street Fighter Alpha 3 tournament.
