This is a online multiplayer indie game, this kind of reminds you of For Honor with a Federal Japan twisted to it.  You can choose classes such as Swordsman, Naginatashi Pikeman, Ninja Assassin or Ite Archer. Each class type has unique abilities and combos for example multiple offensive stances. defensive techniques and acrobatic combos to multi-enemy sweeps to fire arrows. Indies of the Week #15 -Weirdness Indie Gaming Sunday

Being weird is cool


Hello indie gamers! Welcome to addition of Indies of the week! Today’s theme is weirdness, indie game intend to have wack character design and gameplay but it’s make it stand out for being a great game. That being said, let’s see what indies what have in-store today.

8. Undead Darlings – The Dungeon


This indie is a visual novel dungeon crawling game. You play as Reginald “Reggie” P. Happenstahnce and his journey to take the cure for the zombie plague. You meet undead girls as well, the features of this game are 20 huge floors to explore in a dungeon, get loot,  over 300,000 words of dialogue in the visual novel segment. There is 6 player characters to choose from, 9 endings and there is not store in this game sadly. As for combat, you get weapons, armor and items. Exploit multiple enemy weaknesses simultaneously, set up battle strategies with the Macro function and their is 50 hours of gameplay.  If you want a visual novel rpg support this game and check the website.

This is a fun zombie experimentation indie game, which you can research, herd, and raise the undead. I am liking the lighter tone to the game and reminds me of Plants Vs Zombies and Garry Mod. This game feature a FPS simulation style, create your lab, farm plants not just zombies. There are upgrades for your research and development. Botlike is a  fast paced action platformer indie with roguelike elements. You play as a robot named S.I.R was is fighting against a organization called Security Service of the League who ranged war against human creators.  In this game you collect 10 weapons and upgrades to make it more powerful. Indies of the Week #12 – Experience Indie Gaming Sunday

Experience new things in indies.


Welcome to another Indies of the week, this week’s theme is experience, in indie games you experience the game story, character’s motivates and gameplay.  I don’t know if I will do indies of the week next Sunday because of mother’s day I might do a post sometime next week. 5. The Wishgranter – LukaGame


This indie is a dungeon crawler and it’s inspired by  Legend Of Zelda and Dark Souls. The plot of the game is A mysterious entity know only as the Wishgranter (image above) promises freedom and life in exchange for retrieving ancient relics from a depths below. You play as various heroes and explore dungeon to unveil the mysteries of the Wishgranter. This game has permdeath which means you die you hero will be lost forever and you have to start with a new character. There is endless loot so make sure you get alot, explore through Procedurally Generated dungeons (there are very different and not the same) and you have limited resources to fight enemies. Welcome to another addition to indies of the week! This week theme was difficult to come up with and I might do a request a from readers on what theme to come up with for the next indies of the week. Anyways relay is about communicating with the environments, interactive with clues and also people to achieve your goal. Here are the indies:

5.  Ghosts of Miami – Pillow Fight


This is a mystery visual novel indie, where you make desicions, find clues and romance. You play as a detective named Chelo Martínez and she handled cases such as drug cartels, the AIDS epidemic, undocumented immigrants and kidnapping. This game is inspired by 80s motif such as  Grand Theft Auto Vice City and Mami Vice. The gameplay reminds me of Phoenix Wright and you can travel through places to solve the case. If you want a 80s style colorful indie game, make sure you support and buy this game on Steam.   Note: there is beta testing going on.

Indies of the Week #10 – Valiant Indie Gaming Sunday

A group of brave heroes that are on adventure.


Hello and welcome to another indies of the week! this theme is Valiant meaning bravery. In video games the main character goes on a journey and meets countless obstacle and trials. I will be counting down some indies that have this motif.  Here we go:

7. Soma Spirits: Rebalance -Torch60


This is a choice-driven RPG which is heavily based on choice in the world. You play as two beings heart and soul (that’s deep) who travel back in forward between World of Sorrow and Joy to find themselves. The game features multiple opportunities to change the story’s outcome, music changes when you are in the two  worlds, five endings and outcome in the main story. The combat system (which reminds me Dragon Quest) let you switch characters with each abilities and three different difficulty levels. If you want a indie where you can switch between characters in different world, support this game and it;s available on Steam now.

This indie is a  Sci-fi action role-playing game, You play as a business man who battles rivaling syndicates. Note: There is not direct storyline in this game which developer stated. Also this game gives you freedom to whatever they want, joining three factions. There is alot of things to do such as playing card game, buying or sell stock, You can make your own syndicate and hire people as well. As for the combat you can use weapons and hand to hand, there is a survival system which you can eat, drink, sleep, and cleanse make sure you keep yourself happy. 5. Psycho Bob – Libeedo


This indie is a run n gun plaformer game, it also has co-op if you want to play with a friend. This game takes inspiration from Metal Slug, Max Payne and Contra along with Evil Dead. The graphic is 2.5D with 360 degree angle, rag-doll physics, is present in this game. You plat as a lobotomized lab monkey named Bob who is a gun towing, speaking of weapons you have rocket lanchers, shotgun and many more. You fight to hordes of clones and mutants. Indies of the Week #6 – Adventure Indie Gaming Sunday

On to the adventure


Sorry for last Sunday because I have to work overtime and spend my birthday week (March 8) with my family. Welcome to indies of the week and today’s theme is adventure, a hero or heroine is on a mission to accomplish a goals. These indies can be comical or scary you choose what is your preference. Without further ado let’s get right to it.

5. Grave Chase – Skeleton Crew Studios


This is a horror action-adventure indie from the creators of Abobo’s Big Adventure and Bionic Chainsaw Pogo Gorilla.  You play as two siblings who must survive the month October in a graveyard with the undead and a murderess groundkeeper. This game reminds me of Zombies at my Neighbors with a retro feel with 2D pixel art. There are four game modes, 31 levels, gamepad support and special powerups for the main characters. You can also build monsters using body parts you collect and there are two option run or die. If you want a horror adventure game support the developers it’s has relay value and 50 achievement medals if you are completionist.
