Welcome to another indies of the Week #37 this Sunday. Sorry there is no Halloween edition today. Although there is a cute and scary edition if you want to check it out. Today’s theme is narration, story telling in indies game take you on a journey. How heroes have a goal they must follow and put your in a fantasy world. Without further ado lets get started on some indies.
7. Hellbreaker – Tahoe Games
Hellbreaker is a vertical-action roguelike indie game. Players take control of a man with a demon-like claw. Fight your way demons from hell and execute combos. Unlock new character as you progress through the Hellbreaker. Watch out for traps and gain power to destroy enemies. Will you climb your way out of hell? 6. Misao: Definitive Edition – Sen
MISAO is a horror-adventure indie game where players search for a young girl who has disappeared in a cursed school. Choose male or female protagonist and find clue to find Misao. Definitive edition adds new graphics, extra puzzles and more event scenes from the original. Misao is a keyboard game only I don’t if you play with a controller. 5. Metropolis: Lux Obscura – Ktulhu Solutions
Metropolis Lux Obscura is a unique indie game with a film noir atmosphere. The story of Metropolis follows Jon Lockhart who just got out of prison and returns to the city to find with framed him. Metropolis: Lux Obscura motion comic gameplay reminds me of Sin City. Puzzle like battle sequence and 12 mental disorders to unlock. 4 different ending to explore and beautiful women. 4. Rogue Quest: The Vault of the Lost Tyrant – ExperaGameStudio
Rogue Quest: The Vault of the Lost Tyrant is a point and click adventure indie game. Play as Cassandra Nech who is one of the members in the renowned Rogue’s Guild. Cassie is armed with a crossbow and her companions. If players are stuck there is a hint system and retro style gameplay. Will Cassandra find the treasure of legendary Sea Tyrant’s treasure? Blackberry Honey is a visual novel indie adventure game. The story is set in a England, Lorina Waugh is fired from her previous position as a maid in the stately home of Hartwell. Lorina is struggling to find work to support her family. Lorina is forced to work 14 hours being bullied senior maids. A mysterious maid named Taohua interact with Lorina and might be a witch. Blackberry Honey is a LBGT kinetic game with no choices. 7-10 hours of text reading and detailed CGs backgrounds. Listen to 18 songs in Blackberry Honey soundtrack. Lorn is a first-person horror indie game set in the dark, isolated ruins of a once great kingdom. You play as a loyal servant of the King named Voss and on a quest to steal the king’s artifact.
