Blizzcon 2017 is underway and there is alot of news and announcements. I have may share of Blizzard games Overwatch is one of them. I have not played Heroes of the Storm for a while and might get back on it. Those who don’t know what Blizzcon is, its a two-day annual fan conversation which showcase games and merchandise from Blizzard Entertainment. Blizzcon 2017 is in Anaheim, California but people who don’t make it. Blizzard live streams the event on YouTube and Twitch. Although live stream is free you can buy a virtual ticket to watch panels, get in-game goodies and contest. I am not going to talk about the whole Blizzcon experience but games.
Let’s get right to the gaming news and announcements shall we. Frist, any D.VA fans out there? Razor release D.Va Gaming Peripherals with MEKA headset ($59.99), Abyssus Elite mouse and The D.Va Razer Goliathus ($19.99.). I really want D,VA gear because she is my main on Overwatch and Torbjorn.
Next, Starcraft 2 is free to play and players can play Wings of Liberty campaign and Heart of the Swarm . Also includes ranked multiplayer ladder after achieving 10 first wins of the day. All co-op commanders were announced and other single-player campaigns are available for purchase. Here is some Heroes of the Storm news, Hanzo is confirmed. Hanzo is a defense hero who using his bow and arrow to mark enemies and summon dragons.
Hearthstone announced Kobolds and Catacombs expansion There will be new cards such as Marin the Fox and hunter spell called Crushing Walls. Recruitment mechanic where cards marked with recruit will pull a minion from your deck and put it directly into play. Kobolds and Catacombs is also a single player mode were players will have to defeat eight random bosses, earning new cards. Hearthstone: Kobolds and Catacombs will be available on December. Herostone is getting an 2018 update which includes reworking the stealth system. Another new hero Alexstrasza red Wyrm and one the five great dragons from World of Warcraft.
Blizzard announced World of Warcraft vanilla server. The Classic server is still being developed and World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. Battle for Azeroth expansion has three zones set in the island nation of Kul Tira. There are new factions and an island system. Island system is players will team up in a party of three to explore areas. Group up with 20 players to fight for territory and a new item called Heart of Azeroth. At launch of Battle for Azeroth , players will be able to level up to 120 and purchase boosts. Another major change of Warcaft is level scaling system. Legion expansion allows level scaling and Blizzard wants Battle for Azeroth to have that.
Note: Players must enter enter a beginner zone as a level 120. Blizzard announced for Warcraft is Player Verses Player . PVP is apart of Battle for Azeroth expansion but there is a option to turn it on. There are new arenas in Tiragarde, Zuldaza and Seething Shore. Overwatch fanatics there is a new support hero named Moira O’Deorain. Moira’s backstory is a scientist and responsibility for Reaper’s powers. Moira used to work for Talon but now in Blackwatch. Moira’s abilities she can use both hands to heal and fight. Regenerate teammates and decay enemies. Teleport in a short distance and bypass barrier to damage enemies. Moira will be available soon and can’t wait to play her.
Overwatch is getting a new map called BlizzardWorld. Which features attraction other Blizzard games such as Heroes of the Storm, Warcaft and StarCraft. Finally new Overwatch animated short for Reinhardt called Honor and Glory. The animated short focus on Reinhardt’s young days in the Crusader. Reinhardt is accompanied with his old friend Balderich von Adler. Reinhardt learns that his team needs him and willing to protect people. This short is be on Veteran’s Day because Reinhardt is a tur soldier.
