Based on the DC comic with the same name, Batman Arkham Knight is the final installment of the Arkham series by Rocksteady Studios. The story is set one year after Batman: Arkham City (when The Joker dies) and Gotham City is under siege by Scarecrow (voiced by John Noble) who wants to spread fear into Gotham on Halloween ( how ionic) and he is not alone Gotham most notorious villains is on the loose such as Two-Face ( voiced by Troy Baker), Penguin (voiced by Nolan North), Riddler (voiced by Wally Wingert), Deathstroke, Poison Ivy (voiced by Tansia Valenza), Harley Quinn ( voiced by Tara Strong) and many other villains. There is original villain called Arkham Knight who is one of biggest threat next to Scarecow. Of course, you play as Batman but what about his allies Catwoman (voiced by Grey Griffin), Oracle (voiced by Ashley Greene), Tim Drake( voiced by Mat Mercer), Nightwing (Scott Porter), Barbara father James Gordon (Jonathan Banks) and don’t forget Alfred Batman’s loyal butler.
Gameplay wise, you have news gadgets, armor, new combos and the first time in an Arkham game you get on the Batmobile (which I love and its battle mode feature). To be honest if Batman don’t kill then why he need missiles and a Vulcan chain gun. Other than that you still have glide, Detective vision and same controls as the pervious Arkham games. When teaming up with Nightwing, Robin and Catwoman you can perform team attack and switch between characters. You can do challenge (you can play them after the game) if you don’t want to go to the main story missions. There is also upgrades went you level up for weapons, gadgets, armor, attack and etc. The Unreal Engine 4 makes the game more realism went the rain fall to Batman’s cape. After you beat the game there is a ton of DLC content such as Batgirl: A Matter of Family (you play as Batgirl), Season of Infamy (you are up against Mad Matter, Killer Croc, Mister Freeze and Ra’s Al Ghul), and side stories of Harley, Red Hood and Catwoman and skins range from The Animated Series through Adam West Batman. If you want to know the prequel read the digital comic of Batman Arkham Knight. Speaking of comics, throughout the game they alluded different Batman comics such as The Killing Joke and A Death in the Family. If you a DC comic fan and just love Batman buy this game. One of the best Arkham games you will ever played. Batman : Arkham Knight is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 And PC ( it might have problems).
