Communicate with life

Indie

Welcome to another addition to indies of the week! This week theme was difficult to come up with and I might do a request a from readers on what theme to come up with for the next indies of the week. Anyways relay is about communicating with the environments, interactive with clues and also people to achieve your goal. Here are the indies:

5.  Ghosts of Miami – Pillow Fight

download.jpg

This is a mystery visual novel indie, where you make desicions, find clues and romance. You play as a detective named Chelo Martínez and she handled cases such as drug cartels, the AIDS epidemic, undocumented immigrants and kidnapping. This game is inspired by 80s motif such as  Grand Theft Auto Vice City and Mami Vice. The gameplay reminds me of Phoenix Wright and you can travel through places to solve the case. If you want a 80s style colorful indie game, make sure you support and buy this game on Steam.   Note: there is beta testing going on.

Being Employed for the Internet and Passive Income

You are your own business

INTERNET-BANKING.jpg

I know 60% of Americans and people around the world are dissatisfied with their day job and want out. I have to say this “You have the right to be happy and doing something you love” not to force to do something that someone tell you to do like a family member, friend, co-worker and anybody. You are your own person and you have the power to change your life, you shouldn’t don’t care if people don’t agree your decision making, I am going to quote SuperBoy from Young Justice “ever get on broad or get out the way”. I been watching Roberto Blake’s video “How to Make Passive Income” and I agree with him on things especially on YouTube. Don’t go into YouTube thinking you are going to do it full-time but if that’s your pitch go for it but have a plan b such as freelancing, Patreon, merchandising, Affiliate Marketing and Entrepreneurships. Make sure you have a goal, business plan and a mindset that can drive you to greatness. The most important thing is budget, make sure you have a saving account handy because you don’t have to spend it on unnecessary things and try to invest as much as possible. I think so folks have children and it money-consuming and it’s hard to invest but can still be self-employed as well.

Is Injustice 2 and Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Story Trailer Similar?

Do you think these trailers are similar?

vlcsnap-error616.png

Today I stumble across two superhero crossover trailer and the main villains in both are Brainiac and Ulrton Sigma both computer-based villains who want to take over the universe. What does to two have in common? They both are super dangerous and super intelligent beings who can control technology and surpass humans in many ways.  If these two ever fought in a fight I think Brainiac will win in a fight but you can comment if you think Ultron will win. If you don’t know about both of these characters are I will give you a quick summary.  Brainiac is one of Superman’s oldest foes. A techno-organic being with a twelfth-level intellect (the entirety of the human race only has a level 1 intellect) and hyper-advanced technology, he travels the multiverse seeking civilizations to shrink and abduct, which he then adds to his collection of captured worlds. Created by Henry Pym to be a technological landmark, he soon intellectually surpassed Pym, and eventually fought the Avengers after organizing the Masters of Evil. He has clashed with the Avengers numerous times, and was most recently defeated while trying to conquer the world.

Is Twitch Affiliate Program competing with YouTube?

Will you be selected for the Twitch Affiliate Program?

youtube-twitch

Twitch just announced an Affiliate Program where help bridge the gap between apprising and partnered streamers. I think Twitch should done this a long time ago but now it’s been unveiled there is a new hope of streamers to do this full-time. Twitch heard the cries of ever small streamer who wants to do this for a living. As for YouTube as of right now, there is an ad boycott due to Anti-Semitic content posted by YouTube’s biggest star Pewdipie and Wall-Street Journal. Now big company like Starbucks, McDonalds, BBC and others have join the cause. There are countless videos talking about this I did one myself and I am consider about the future of YouTube. Will it shut down or will Google/YouTube fix this problem. YouTube does have a revenue system as well called Google AdSense, it pretty much online advertisement for videos, websites, blogs and more. In YouTube’s case it’s based on CPC (per click) or CPM (per impression), when you watch a YouTube video you noticed the ads (pre-roll or post-roll) comes on and there is an option to skip ads. That’s example of CPC because the more views you get on your videos the more CPM you get. Also there are ads located on the right on your video where the related videos are located.

Is It Too Late to Start a Blog and Do It For a Living?

Tell your story and journey through the world of blogging.

make-money-blogging

The answer to that question it’s not too late to start a blog. Make sure you have an idea and brainstorm on what topics or theme you what your blog to be about. I know starting off small is difficult but the more work you put into it the better the result. There is a quote I like to recited “If there is opportunity always take the shot” that means if you run a successful blog you are more likely to get sponsorships, mentions, rewards or maybe be on the News. When creating a blog you also have to find a niche, what makes you stand out from rest? My topic is gaming I review and talk anything that involve video games but it’s a saturated market because there are many video game news or blog outlets out such as Kotaku, IGN, Gamespot and many more. To be honest I can’t complete with these outlets but I want to be different than them. My goals for the blog is to extended it and do it for a living because I love writing and expressing myself online. As of now I wouldn’t see revenue no time soon because I am still a small blogger and don’t have enough traffic right now but I am see the result since I started last year in October 2016. I will keep on pushing to get a following and audience that will enjoy my blog posts.

Indies of the Week #10 – Valiant Indie Gaming Sunday

A group of brave heroes that are on adventure.

Indie

Hello and welcome to another indies of the week! this theme is Valiant meaning bravery. In video games the main character goes on a journey and meets countless obstacle and trials. I will be counting down some indies that have this motif.  Here we go:

7. Soma Spirits: Rebalance -Torch60

header

This is a choice-driven RPG which is heavily based on choice in the world. You play as two beings heart and soul (that’s deep) who travel back in forward between World of Sorrow and Joy to find themselves. The game features multiple opportunities to change the story’s outcome, music changes when you are in the two  worlds, five endings and outcome in the main story. The combat system (which reminds me Dragon Quest) let you switch characters with each abilities and three different difficulty levels. If you want a indie where you can switch between characters in different world, support this game and it;s available on Steam now.

AAA Titles Games and VR Is So 80s Says Cliff Bleszinski

Quality over quantity

gear-vr.png

Cliff Bleszinski did a panel at Dubrovnik’s Reboot Develop 2017, where he talks about state of AAA games and what they cost $60 and DLC. Bleszinski quoted that “nearly unsustainable” due to the very high on aspects like graphics, feature sets, polish and overall quality. He used examples such as  Horizon: Zero Dawn due to the seven years of development and says  “its main focus is actually to sell PlayStation consoles rather than just copies of the game”.  Bleszinski also presented  Digital AA games such as Warframe, Rocket League and RUST  and his own Lawbreaker saying that due to the limited budget these games are successful. As for the “VR is in the 80s period” which Bleszinski quoted in the panel.  Bleszinski is a fan of VR since the 80s due to array of wave person shooter during the Atari days.  Bleszinski worries about developers s learning how to properly use VR and the technology itself still constantly improving in the near feature.

The Pirate Mermaid – Under The Sea

download

The Pirate Mermaid is a  fantasy otome visual novel where you can become a hero or villain. Developed by Navigame.media in this game you can become a  legendary pirate, mermaid queen, sorceres and any thing you can think of. The plot of the game is , you are saved and find a sorcerer who will make you a magical contract – with a catch. He’ll transform you into a mermaid to grab the treasure, if you bring him a red vial from the mermaids. If you fail, you’ll be turned into a lobster. The game reminds me of the Little Mermaid and it’s very fairy tail-ish. I think the female demographic will love this and males as well.

Why I Don’t Accept Awards and Talents Comes From Within

This is the realest blog post I have written

Untitled-1

Everyone deserved recognition for their hard work and dedicating for what they do but don’t you feel like you are robbing someone and taking credit for other. As for me I accepted awards but I don’t feel I deserve it because my hard work and passion comes from within and I don’t need a trophy, a certificate, a diploma or maybe an Oscar to tell me I am doing a good job. You don’t need those to tell you’re doing a great job, you as the person who is passionate on what you do. Whether you are a Blogger, YouTuber, Musician, Actor and many others. I know some of your work and you ever get employee of the month or promotion which most likely happens in a workplace. I want to ask you how to do you feel about a promotion or employment? Do you still treated the same? Are you happy? Does someone else deserve it more than you do? What about winning the Major Leagues, Playoffs or Super Bowl? They have crowned the MVP of the season for the most popular and well-known player but what about the other teammates should they get shine. What are the Oscars speaking of that, what happens if the same actor won 5 awards but none of the nominees didn’t get any of them do you feel bad.
