New Year’s Resolution for 2017 and Full-Time Goals

Good Bye 2016

calgary_nye_2016

Well folks it’s almost 2017 and 2016 was a good but rough year for me. When I start blogging in September I didn’t know went I was getting into but I saw some YouTube videos that you can do it full-time or part time whatever you choose and make money from it. I didn’t want to go into blogging for the money but because I love it, note: blogging is not a get rich quick scheme it takes time and months (maybe a year) to grow just like YouTube and Twitch. You can do it on the side and have your full-time job too, if you plan on doing blogging full-time. There are methods to grow your blog such as quality, traffic, promote and network with other bloggers. That’s what I been doing in these four months and I met some great people and hope to meet more. While I am on YouTube I delete my channel with 262 subscribers because of MCN (don’t join them if you are a small YouTuber) and I rebooted my channel (now with 15 subscribers) and I know all the basics on growing my YouTube by watching SEO videos by Roberto Blake and Video Creators.

Capcom latest installment of Street Fighter is here but is it an early access game? There are mixed reviews on this game and the main complaint is lack of content. Which it’s inacceptable for a fighting game and loss of value to the game. If you don’t know what Street Fighter is a fighting game that been around seen the 80s and the best-selling franchise in Capcom. It features fighting from different countries and other fighting games take influence from this. There are Street Fighter TV shows, movies, comics and many other merchandise. In Street Fighter V, there are some new characters such as Laura Matsuda (Sean Matsuda’s older sister), Rashid (which people think the character is racist), F.A.N.G.( one of Shadaloo Grand Masters which replace Sagat) and Necalli ( Aztec warrior who seek souls). Is Remastering Video Games Same as Rehashing?

Bring back the old games with update graphics and sound.

Remastering video games has become a trend nowadays in video games industry. Video Games from the earlier 80’s through 2000s are considered a classics from our childhood such as Final Fantasy VII, Grim Fandango, Halo, Crash Bandicoot, The Legend of Zelda and many more. Remaster is the same as a remake of a video with enhanced graphics, audio, gameplay and story from the original game. Some remake and remasters of video games doesn’t live up to the original game as the fans grew with game such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled, Splatterhouse (2010), Bomberman: Act Zero, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, Altered Beast(2005)and more. These remaster and remakes are sometime done by other studios not the original.

Top 5 SNES Great Video Games of My Early Childhood

SNES era is awesome

78b1965dbb8d754bbeb6f9a1addf0d4f

I always love playing on my SNES when I was little and got the SNES9x emulator to relive them again. Here is my top 5 games I played on the SNES when I was a child.

5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time

One of the best TMNT games that hit SNES. Konami did a great job on this game recapturing 1987 turtles cartoon. This game is a beat-em’ up and you play as four turtles Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael. In the arcade there are four players but SNES version is two, you can slam foot soldiers in the ground and at the screen. You will face TMNT villains such as Baxter Stockman, Shredder, Kang, Rocksteady and Bebop. You also have versus and time-trial mode as extra replay value. Also there is a remake called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled but it doesn’t live it up the SNES. I love Pizza Power song in the arcade version and Shredder steals Statue of Liberty. If you a Turtles fan play this game.

4. Zombies Ate My Neighbors

Another Konami classic filled with monster from horror movies. This game is a run and gun shooter with a weird twist because you are up against zombies, vampires, evil dolls, UFOS and other monsters. You play as to character Zeke and Julie who saves their neighbors from Dr. Tongue and his monsters. There are 48 levels (thank god for a password system) such as malls, pyramids, castles, school and many more. There is also powerups and weapons like Uzi water gun, popsicles, bazookas and many more. You have a chance to play this game give it a go.

Does Graphics Makes Video Game Looking Good?

What do you think of video game graphics

Video game graphics can be breathe-taking and can be a form of art. Nowadays video games companies tries to make the game more realistic like a movie. There are motion-capture of real actors like Until Dawn and CGI rendering for characters. In the 1970s, video games had vector graphics that uses points, lines and curves for example like Asteroids. Afterwards uses pixels if you are playing on an Atari for example E.T. yes that game. Moving on to 2D graphics which are computer-based generation of digital Images. 2D is different from 3D but this required drawing and printing, you seen 2D in NES, Sega Mega Drive, SNES and Gameboy. Older Mortal Kombat series uses digitized sprites for their characters using photographic renderings of actors. Speaking of video games sprites, there are 2D bitmaps that integrate with video game console’s hardware in the 1980s – 1990s. Pixel art is a form of Digital art that uses raster graphics which related to 2D sprites.
